At Superior Industrial Refrigeration, safety isn’t just a checkbox, it’s a core value that shapes every job we take on. This June, we’re proud to recognize National Safety Month, a time to highlight the importance of preventing injury and fostering a culture of accountability. From our welders and ammonia service journeymen to our construction managers and leadership team, we’re committed to setting the standard for safe, reliable industrial refrigeration work.
That commitment includes hands-on investment in training: we’re already planning HAZWOPER courses for Winter 2026, offered in both Utah and Idaho to keep access convenient for our clients and partners.
Safety Manager Tiffany York brings heart and focus to this mission every day, and we’re excited to feature her in this month’s “Meet the Team” spotlight.
MEET THE TEAM: TIFFANY YORK
DOG LOVER, RODEO FAN, SAFETY PRO
As Administrative Assistant and Accounts Payable lead, Tiffany York keeps operations running smoothly while playing a key role in SIR’s safety program. She helps manage critical training and certifications that keep our teams compliant and job-ready. Born and raised in Fruitland, Idaho, Tiffany enjoys rodeos, reading thrillers and romance novels, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and their crazy Red Heelers, Zippy and Bandit.
We’re honored to sponsor Simplot Safety Day on Tuesday, July 15 from 4–7 PM at the Malheur County Fairgrounds in Ontario, OR. This family-friendly event brings employees, partners, and the community together to celebrate safe practices at work and at home. It’s a great opportunity to share knowledge, build connections, and recognize the importance of a strong safety culture.
SIR COOL + THE BOISE HAWKS
SUPPORTING SAFE FUN ALL SEASON
If you’re headed to a Boise Hawks game this summer, be sure to swing by the Kids Zone and check out our SIR Cool poster welcoming young fans! With his glove ready and shades on, our frosty mascot reminds kids to be safe!
We’re proud to support fun, family-friendly spaces like the Kids Zone while sharing our message of safety, teamwork, and cool-headed performance — values that matter both on the field and on the job site.
HAZWOPER training will return in Winter 2026 as part of our Superior Safety Days in both Idaho and Utah. Whether you're a returning participant or considering joining us for the first time, now’s the perfect time to get on the list.
Summer heat puts extra strain on your system — and dirty evaporators can lead to poor performance, higher energy costs, and unexpected breakdowns. Now’s the time to schedule your cleaning before temperatures spike. Contact SIR to get on the calendar, and keep your equipment running efficiently all season long.
